This fastener system is designed and developed by the Chinese Academy of Railway Sciences, and is mainly used for 350km / h high-speed rail passenger non-rolling track.

WJ-8扣件系统为有挡肩无砟轨道用扣件系统，扣件系统由螺旋道钉、平垫圈、弹条（分 W1 型和 X2 型）、绝缘块、轨距挡板、轨下垫板（分橡胶垫板和复合垫板） 、铁垫板、铁垫板下弹性垫板和定位于混凝土轨枕或轨道板的预埋套管组成。钢轨高低调整时采用调高垫板（分轨下微调垫板和铁垫板下调高垫板）。
WJ-8型扣件系统适用于铺设60kg/m钢轨无砟轨道，其中：
1）开行动车组（最大轴重170kN）的350km/h速度等级高速铁路；
2）开行动车组（最大轴重170kN）的250km/h速度等级高速铁路，可兼顾少量普通客车（机车最大轴重230kN） 和少量货车（最大轴重230kN）；
3）开行动车组（最大轴重170kN）的200km/h速度等级城际铁路
